In 2022, a group of compassionate individuals came together to honor a little boy named Jordan. Jordan was a true superhero who battled against the cruel villain, Cancer. Although many of us never had the opportunity to meet Jordan in person, his family describes him as having the strength of the Hulk, the courage of Black Panther, the heart of Captain America, and the kindness of Spiderman. This year, we are once again uniting to keep Jordan’s memory alive and make a positive impact in the lives of others.
As with last year, all donations received will be given to Jordan’s family for a scholarship fund that was created in his honor. Starting in June of 2024, two deserving students who have shown remarkable resilience and overcome hardships during the school year will be awarded scholarships. These scholarships will provide support as they continue their educational journey and graduate. In the year that Jordan would have graduated, one or two students will receive a scholarship in memory of his incredible spirit.
Apart from the scholarship fund, we also have other donation requests that are highly appreciated. These items will be given to the UW Madison American Family Children’s Hospital to benefit kids currently undergoing treatment. We are specifically looking for brand new coloring books and crayons for all ages, playdough, kinetic sand, reading books, and toys for boys and girls.
By contributing to these donation requests, you can make a significant difference in the lives of children who are facing challenging circumstances. Your generosity will bring smiles to their faces and provide them with a sense of comfort and joy during their treatment. Together, we can create a positive impact and support these young warriors in their fight against illness.
